• This journal welcomes high quality papers on all aspects of health professional education including; undergraduate education, postgraduate training, continuing professional development and interprofessional education. As such, all issues of current interest, including teaching methods, curriculum reform, the training of medical/dental teachers, the selection of entrants and assessment techniques, are covered.

• The readership consists primarily of teachers of medicine/dentistry, medical/dental educators, administrators of medical/dental faculties, medical/dental workers and researchers involved in the development of medical/dental education as a whole. Two issues of Nigerian Journal of Medical and Dental Education (NJMDE) are published annually covering January-June and July-December.
